We were pleased to welcome John Barnes from Children with Cancer UK recently where he was presented with a cheque for the magnificent sum of £5,123.61 which was raised as a direct result of the sponsored head shave carried out by Jack Craven and Cider Phil Howells.
Before being presented with the cheque, John gave a talk to our members on how donations such as ours, help support the Charity and allow them in turn to help the children suffering with this awful disease.
Once again, we give huge thanks to our members and guests for your most generous support. Our fundraising continues and we will be pleased to welcome John back in the new year to receive the rest of the monies being raised.
