Chairman's Message

Hello all,

Christmas now being a distant memory, my next task is to work with the Financial Conduct Authority, and implement the changes to the Club rule book that was agreed at the A.G.M.

We hosted Natalie Russell last Sunday from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, where we were delighted to present her with £8,500.00 that you lovely people raised in 2025.

We had previously asked for ideas of charities to support in 2026. Suggestions that we received, included The Rainbow Centre in Fareham, DEBRA UK, the Rowans Hospice and the National Children’s Air Ambulance Service, headquartered in Rugby, Warwickshire.

But by overwhelming majority, we were asked to consider again supporting the HIOWAA and also Sophie’s Legacy. We are very pleased to do so.

Our website is undergoing a big upgrade behind the scenes and I am sure you will like the new look as it becomes available.

It will be easier for us to post news, events and other relevant information and you will also be able to renew your membership online once it is set up.
